perkins 4.108 idle speed?

What is the Perkins 4.108 idle speed?
I have rebuilt the engine and replaced the alternator with a 100amp unit and a new Tach setup for the alternator. hat is the proper idle speed. The engine idles very slowly.

Ours changes between hot and cold. Hot it gets down to 450 cold 750.

The book says 625 - 650. If you are trying to set a electric tach . You need to use the mechanical takeoff under the alternator. Best not to mess with the antistall and just adjust the low idle setting.
