Perkins 4.107

Well, now that the fuel system on my Perkins is servicable, moving on the the next job - replace the air filter...

But - there is no air filter currently. Went down to my local perkins supplier, and they dont have any documentation for the 4107 - they did show me some parts for the 4108 which look totally different, square rather than circular housing.

So my questions to you guys are - does the photo of my air "filter" housing look like a standard 4107 install?

Is it usual to run these with no filter element inside.

It would be really great if somebody could post a picture of a 4107 showing the filter element correctly installed- even better if somebody can give me part number and where to get a filter (local perkins guy reckons he couldnt find a part number or stock code)
