Re: parallel hybrid for propulsion
I'd rather have a serial hybrid system than a parallel hybrid system.
- No need for a gearbox or clutches.
- Works well with either reciprocating or gas turbine generators.
- Freedom of placement of the generator.
- Simplicity of operation; instant power all the time without needing to think about how to configure anything.
