Lugger L984

Hi all

I'm interested in a boat and have learnt that the engine unit is a Lugger L984 based on a Toyota block. I've been researching the model and can only find an operators manual as issued by northern lights that refers to the unit being a generator and not a diesel engine. I can't find anything else on the Web about them, i.e. reviews, common problems or even a parts list for pricing (apart from a whole load of starter motors).

So I was wondering if any one had any experience of the model, specifically as a propulsion unit, known issues, ease of repair and availability of spare parts? Or failing that, anecdotal knowledge of the unit working well as a propulsion engine.

Many thanks
