Hose Adapters Engine to Water Heater

I'm installing a water heater and need to reduce the 7/8" Westerbeke 58 flow controller fittings to 5/8 Seaward hot water inlet. I've searched for a reducer/adapter/coupling without any luck. Does anyone have a lead on such an adapter or have suggestions for making this connection? The hose length will be 7' each. Seaward calls for non-collapsing heater hose so I'm planning to use Trident hardwall blue stripe 100-0780 or 100-0580 hose. Sound right?

Thanks
