Yep Bob, easy way to keep the decks clean, wash & wear. Since each ama has a enclosed nacelle, for the small time of those conditions, just stay in the nacelle's protection.

I know we share the same taste for what we want in a boat, so here is a recent launch that is probably more to your liking. The battery bank is lithium and huge, allowing 200 nm run in 24 hours on batteries alone. At a slower speed for a passage, the panels will power 27/7. I played with the numbers, you could coastal hop in 200 nm legs, pull into that nice marina for a day's stay, and with the 30 amp 240 volt service being pulled at max for the entire stay, you would have another 200 nm in your "tank", and the $30 slip fee would be a wash, as you pulled close to that in juice.

Also, I know you have heard me preach about how I want a fully electric galley, complete with induction cook tops to the 1500 watt BBQ on the railing, well that is what this new build sports.

Wind is normally horizontal.
