Hi,

I have had pointed out to me that my user title

"Moderator... Short for Cat Wrangler"

does nothing to give confidence to the multihull crowd here.

So to put any fears to rest... if ya had em... the cats I wrangle tend to lurk in gun and anchor threads... and the phrase is based on a pretty funny Superbowl ad from a number of years ago... Which if ya missed it is worth takin a look at... and will confirm further for you that there is NO relation ship between the word 'Cat' in this context and the usage as a descriptor for a multi hulled boat.

Now I must confess that I would LOVE to be a cat wrangler in a more nautical sense, but to do that I would need something like a nice Prout Quest... which *sigh* isn't in the cards (or budget) any time soon...

Anyway, I hope I didn't scare any of you too badly with that phrase...

I always figured it was about the 4 legged hairy type of cat, not the boat type. Guess I need to work on being more open minded.

I always assumed it was some sort of euphemism...........
