New bows for Outremer 50/55

Now you can get new bows for the old classics. Looks Gunboaty dontcha think?
Outremer 50/55': new bows

PS: I just discovered that you can read an entire issue of MultihullsWorld at Barnes and Noble while waiting for someone to finish shopping at the mall.

I thought outremmers were the boat without modifications.

Looks like more solid bows in case they hit some floatsome or shipping container. I sure could use more solid bows with all the logs coming down our flooding river lately.

From the video bows lift better with less spray and your point is also valid.

Anyone know where these new bows were made? Do moulds exist or were they one offs?
Thanks.

It's a one-off. An after-market change made to a single boat. It's currently for sale in Panama.

Thanks Fabgo. Can I speak to you directly about her or should I go through the broker online?

I posted that 8 years ago but I remember that article. They had built mold(s) and were offering an update to the Outie owners. In France I think, (where else) and around 10,000 euros. Maybe they just did the one boat. You can download that article for a small fee.

As far as I know they have been made by Rive Sud in Sète/France. We had our cat there for a while. If you go for it, just make sure the work is being done properly!

Might be hard to connect with Rive Sud:

L'entreprise Chantier Naval Rive Sud a été radiée du registre du commerce et des sociétés (RCS) de Montpellier le 18/07/2018

Hi Fabgo,
Looks like tour boat has sold. Can you confirm? Saves me a trip to Panama!
Thanks,
Mike
