Re: Need help - what is this?

Looks a lot like the charge rate controller and indicator we have between the the solar panels ( 2 ) and the batteries

Re: Need help - what is this?

Looks like circuit breakers to me. The top wire goes to battery, the bottom 4 wires to ??? There would have to be a bus bar connecting the tops of all 4 breakers. I can see the DIN rail peeking out from the right side.

Thanks so much for this reply....that looks EXACTLY like my picture - now I need to look at my owners manual's electrical schematic to find out if it will show a size.

If you can't find what size it's supposed to be, you can use the smallest wire gauge as a guide. Also, the link I gave you was for a random DIN rail circuit breaker. Be sure to get ones rated for DC or AC/DC. They look the same as an AC circuit breaker, but internally they're much different and not interchangeable.

Re: Need help - what is this?

A volt meter would eliminate the solar panel idea pretty quick.

What on the boat does not work?

Look at the main panel make a list of what is there.

What is electrical not listed on the main panel? What does not turn on?

I have some small loads in the aft cabin. I have a run from a main breaker to an aft cabin fuse panel and use that fuse panel to distribute to the two cans and two lights and something else I can’t recall.

Re: Need help - what is this?

I agree hpeer. Definitely doesn't look factory. Probably not going to find any answers in the factory wiring diagram. It could be as simple as 4 cabin fans installed at commissioning or even after that.
