Moving Electronic charts

I want to move Electronic charts from my old computer to my new computer
using The captain some of my old
CD'S are not good want to load CD'S on to 1 TB hard drive.

This appears to be a computer question. Depending on the format, it should be easy to move the files from your CD's to the hard drive. What kind of files are they?
