Manta 42 Wind Vane

Hi,

We were very fortunate with Hurricane Irene as she came through NC. Our only damage was a broken wind vane -- not the entire assembly, just the arrow -- broken in half, with the tail the remaining part. Picture attached.

Can anyone provide a source to purchase just the arrow?

Thanks,
C&M

Re: Manta 42 Wind Vane

I suggest the manufacturer should be known and start by asking them.

Re: Manta 42 Wind Vane

Ah jeez, if this is a B&G, I just threw one away yesterday and would have happily sent it to you if I knew. But ask the manufacturer. If worse comes to worse, there is no magic in it - all the sensing parts are internal and the vane just points into the wind. You can cobble up one yourself from an aluminum rod and some thin sheet aluminum for fletches.
