I'm paying 150% of the cost of a marina berth 'cos it is a cat (and that's UK South Coast, so to me it's serious money), plus twice cost of engine servicing, twice on anti-foul, but same on fridge, nav gear etc.

We take up twice as much room, unless you can jag a berth on the end of a finger.

We do have 2 engines, should'nt we get a bulk rate for servicing ?

Don't know about the antifoul. I would have thought most cat's have less wetted surface area, but that has been discussed previously here.

I personally choose not to park on Marina berths as it eat's into the cruising kitty too much,plus we find it easier being able to come head to wind to pick up a mooring , but that's personal choice.
