Looking for Charter Advice

Am looking to charter a cat on the east coast this summer. My family and I are beginning to look at a step up boat and are thinking about a cat. However, we have not been on a sailing cat. We have chartered several 38'+ monohulls but never a cat. Any advice for a good east coast charter company. Fla to main is OK.

Hi there! Not sure where, but try to find a Lagoon 420. Easy to handle, a good sailor and lots of space. Think there are some 38" around too. I own a Lagoon 440 and I Love it.

Thanks! I have looked at the Lagoon series and agree if I can find one on the east coast that would be a great choice. I have seen several in the Caribbean but not found one in the states yet.

Hello, I'll be sailing a 42' Fontaine Pajot Venezia from St. Augustine, FL to Saint Maarten in the Caribbean. That would be a great way to test the boat out and if you like it you can buy it. I'll be asking about 150k for it. I'm leaving in the beginning of January.

Re: Looking for Charter Advice

C&C Charters, Graysonville, MD (by Kent Narrows on the Cheapeake Bay) advertise a 2000 Leopard 45 for charter. Pics look nice!

Great area to sail! Good luck.
