Anyone know much about Searunners? I'm thinking of 37 or 40 feet - for cruising and as a liveaboard
. I've read a bit about them and it seems they sail well, point, don't have any really bad habits. I like the separation of living and sleeping spaces, and when around the dining table you aren't looking up at the sky. That centre cockpit
feels safe and gives a good view. They seem to be a step up in performnce from a Piver
, and a cheap(ish) way to get a reasonable multihull
I'd appreciate any comments from anyone who has sailed/owned one of these; especially discussion on whether to go for a ketch
rig, and what to look for when buying
a used one.
