Having built my own boat, I do feel a bit sorry for this guy, seening so much of his work going to waste like that.

But as Clint said, a man's gotta know his limitations. He wasn't a boat designer, he should have consulted one.

Hopefully incidents like this won't cause legislation to be introduced regarding who is allowed to design boats. If that happened some great boats would never be built.

I once had a C-130 on Edo floats back when I was a bush pilot in Alaska. It had a STOL kit...so a C-130 can be nimble as well as stationary.
