Always nice to see pictures of the marina in st. Cruz de Tenerife!

It looks a very interesting design, I would also love to know the designer/model.

Any idea about the length of the tri?

It must be a great sailing machine, seen the outboard engine...

Why don't you try to ask to the people onboard? They might be ready to se sail and cross the atlantic!
The flag is Dutch, i would expect nice and friendly people onboard!

Say hola to tenerife!

Ciao

It looks like a converted racer. But I can't tell size, or model. Certainly designed to fly one hull, and I think the center hull as well.

She is a Dragonfly, and this is her website.

I found this by Googling "Yana trimaran." There are also lots of videos

Re: cool trimaran: brand or designer???

thats not the same boat as your first post. I see…. you're a 'commercial member,' and you're not so transparently driving views to your actual site, this 'rocket factory.' I get it, but I'd never get one of your boats if that's how you do business

Re: cool trimaran: brand or designer???

The 'Yana' site states it is a 'TR40' designed by Tony Grainger.
Grainger Designs Multihull Yacht Design - Grainger Designs Multihull Yachts
There is a link to the Rocketfactory site from there also.
I don't think Rocket actually designed or built 'Yana', it was AFAIK built in the Netherlands, not China.
Cheers,
Mac

Relax man. Do you work for Df?

I wish id own that tri. Mmmmm sailing at 10/15 knots. I talked to the owners. They have a year off and they are going to the caribbean in a few days. They are a couple of nice dutch people, the woman built the boat and the design is australian.

Btw i have no idea why they put me as a commercial thingy.

Rum 4 all

Re: cool trimaran: brand or designer???

quick Google mentions Dragonfly, but as Mac suggests, their personal site does describe the particular boat in question

Trimaran Yana : Over mij

"Ik ben een 40ft trimaran ontworpen door Tony Grainger (TR40). Na een bouwperiode van 4 jaar ben ik in 1996 te water gelaten bij Rhebergen Multihulls in Amsterdam."
