This is excluding demo/test boats like the one you are doing in Basalt fibre that you posted on another thread.

Can you confirm this?

The number of boats currently in production or delivered has nothing to do with the certifiying body you mentioned in the first post of this thread.

As it appears to me this thread was started with the end of baiting one user and not to discuss all the builder that build in South Africa and how this body impacts them this thread is now closed.

This council regulates the local industry and does not accept members until they have and maintain a good tack record, be it towards customers or suppliers.
I'm not sure but I thinkl they need to build more than one boat per year as well.
I opened this thread to post one more link. It appears the South African Boatbuilders Business Council has been reorganized as the South African Boatbuilders Export Council.

The link above is to "business card site" not to the original http://www.southafricanboatbuilders.co.za/ - This site does not work for me.

The new SABBEX is located here - There are member listing so you can see who are members yourself.

It does not appear they "regulate" the industry. They promote the industry.

SABBEX | South African Boatbuilders Export Council

I just figured it would be appropriate to post the best info we could.
