Tips on sailing to Cuba from the Caribbean

Greetings. Im just cruizing around the Caribbean and planning a trip from BVI to CUBA. Any tips, advice, marinas, etc. I appreciate greatly any input on the topic. Cheers- JG

Sailing the south coast of the island is preferred to the north coast.
Safe harbors there are, but mostly for small fishing fleets. The larger cities
will have easier customs. Santiago, Trinidad, Cienfuegos, and the Youth Island.
That way and you avoid the Thorny Path.
