Solar Power on a Bristol 24

I have just purchased a great old B24 that has a nice 12v battery system in place. I plan to install a PV panel on her before next season and am wondering about location. I am an electrical contractor by profession and we do some PV systems - I have a good idea of the system needs. My real concern is placing the panel so that it looks good, I can conceal the wiring, and not have it in the way of anything.
Also, do you think I should install it on a stainless rack or is aluminum ok?
I was thinking about mounting it flat on the outboard trunk cover, but, not to sure about that. Maybe hang it off the back?

Advice, as always, is much appreciated.

Thanks,

Dan
