Morgan 24 without Centerboard

Anyone know if a Morgan 24 with no centerboard will sail okay?

While I don't have experience with the 24/25, I know that the 30-34-35 sail reasonablely well without the boards. You give up a little windward ability but not a ton. You will reduce your maintenance bill by removing or glassing over the board.

Owned a Morgan 25, which was the 24 with a new interior.

Jammed the centerboard into the slot with mud once. (don't ask)
Lost a lot of windward ability. The board is there for a reason
