I am looking for a liveaboard
boat for the med. The main criteria are:
1. Needs to be easy to handle for husband and wife in 50s who are not great athletes.
around £30K although may have to increase this realistically.
3. Reasonable space i.e. 30' to 35' probably.
4. Double bed
sleeping space separate from living space.
5. Tolerable sailing and seaworthyness. Would be nice to go further than med but not essential.
Top of the list at the moment is the Dufour
35 although I am worried it is a bit big to handle easily. The combination of space and sailing ability is attractive. Also considering Colvic 33 (more expensive and slower), Moody 31 (less cost effective) and Westerley 33. I would be grateful for any views or other suggestions.
