HR 352 Opinion

I'm seriously looking at a well sorted Hallberg Rassy 352. Anyone here own one and can chime in with their opinion?

My itinerary is East Coast sailing this summer, fall and then Caribbean in the winter. There will be two of us living aboard on and off. I am particularly interested in the sailing performance (light air) of the 352 as well as comfort for a couple with the occasional guest(s). The boat I am looking at has the single spreader option (shorter mast). Prices for examples I've found in good order are around $99k. Not very many in the US.

I particularly like the aft stateroom layout and the build quality. I was looking at a Wauquiez Pretoriens but haven't found any boats that don't need major work.

Well you are right in comparing these 2 boats as they are both very high quality builds that can go anywhere you might choose. I would rate the HR as a step u from the Pretorien.

We currently live aboard our HR352, which is an 85'. On our journey home we had about 8-10kts of breeze and were making a steady 5-6kts, sailed like a dream. We have a video of us under sail on our youtube channel which can be found at abandoncomfort.com. We love our HR, you really can't go wrong with these boats.
