Fuel Tank

I have a Pearson 35 with a 12 gallon diesel tank. Would like to upgrade to about 40 gallons. Problem is where to fit one in. Any ideas? I plan on doing a lot more cruising down the East Coast and to the Bahamas. I don't think 12 gallons is enough.

Probably best to think of an additional tank intead of a replacement. One location to look at for the additional tank is in a cockpit lazarette.
