estimating cost to refinish hull P26

Howdy all. I'm trying to get an idea of the cost of materials to refinish a Pearson 26 hull, including epoxy on the iron keel. The hull looks decent so I suspect not too much work will be required other than sanding and refinishing. I would do the work myself. This could be my first boat if the economics and logistics pan out.
Thanks for any help / advice you can offer.

About $500 for product plus incidentals and several days of time. Sound about right?

We need pictures of the boat and some sense of your expectations for the finished product to give you any reasonable feedback or advice.

Unable to provide pics now as winter has hit here in the frigid north. It's a 45 year old 26 footer that has been kept in good condition. This will be my first boat so I'm eager to cut my teeth on the various projects that come with a boat. I'd like to do a nice job of it. The hull looks like it needs sanding and paint. The keel has been rebedded by the current owner but it's time to paint it as well. It's an iron keel.
