Competition Marine Sailboat

I'm a partner in a 1973 29 ft sailboat which the title shows as manufactured by Competition Marine Yachts. I was also told that the boat may be an Alan Gurney design.

I've searched several sites for information on Competition Marine Yachts, but can find nothing. Also, I found that Alan Gurney apparently designed a "Competition 1000", but it is listed at 32 ft long.

I would greatly appreciate any information that is available on Competition Marine Yachts, as well as specific info on the 29 ft model.

There is a Competition Marine 29 advertised on the Jacksonville Craigslist. Maybe you can get in touch with the sellers and get some information. ____Grant.
