40' Lancer

Thinking of buying a 1984 40' Lancer. Researching this boat on internet and can't find any commnets regarding the postives or negatives on this sailboat. Any comments out there?

The most of them Ive seen have been really motor sailors. I don't know how they sail never had chance to sail one But Ive seen them In a lot of places, and they do motor well ! I believe theres a fella on here who has one in PNW Im sure he can tell ya what ya want to know !! But as I said Ive seen them all over the Carib so they must be fair sailors !! Just my 2 cents
