Probably makes sense to critique the finished product as what you are looking at are renderings. Jim Cate notes that the doors are square top in the renderings but are arched in the boat so might be a waste of time.

Sure, in what regards quality not in what regards design quality and style. That you can see a lot better on the rendering. The rendering is what the designer would like the reality to be. If they are "improving" over the designer's work that means that the design work was not good enough.

Always loved the Hinckley's, but after watching the video on the Hinckley website, I am really not interested/impressed.

We just took delivery of a Beneteau Oceanis 48 and LOVE IT.
