Year in the Med 2015 on a Hanse 505
Hi, we will be cruising the Med in a new Hanse 505 (15mts/50Ft) 4 Cabin version that's extremely well equipped with crew to take care of the cleaning and cooking.,
Will be cruising the Med from Spain to France, Italy, Greece and Turkey and any other interesting destination along the way.
If there are 2 couples out there that wish to join us then we have 2 double cabins available.
The following may match your situation and if it does then PM me and we can explore the possibility.
Looking for company from congenial, easy going persons or couples who would like to sail for a for a month sometime during the summer of 2015
No experience required and happy to teach you sailing and boat handling if you want or you can just come along for the lifestyle and the scenery.
Getting from wherever you are to / from the boat will be your responsibility and cost. Shared cost when on board in the form of a crew contribution, so you must be financial to participate.
I am an Australian male, relaxed, great cook, experienced traveler and enjoy life and new experiences. The boat will be new 2014 well equipped and very comfortable. Must have a sense of humor. Must not be argumentative or fragile. Non-smokers only. Wide experience not necessary but the ability to learn is.
This may suit if you are considering buying a Hanse and want/need experience or if you'd rather bank your money and do something like this.

Hi John, Good luck with your voyage. Are you joining the ARC in November to cross the Atlantic?
I am ding the ARC Baltic Rally this July and then moving down to Spain by the end of October.
Crew search is going great guns.

Still undecided whether to do the ARC as they have a set date to set off regardless of weather. We will be in Spain around the same time, look out for us-we'll be flying the Kiwi Fern!

Hi Andy.
The Hanse 505 sure looks a great boat. I would like to do the Sardinia - Italy leg but I'm pretty easy.
Barry
Hi Barry, Will be in touch as we get closer .
Thanks Andy

Re: Year in the Med 2015 on a Hanse 505
Hi,
My wife and I are very interested in learning to sail and learning the live aboard lifestyle. Our dream is to one day live aboard and travel the world. Can you tell me an idea of the expected costs?
Thanks

Hi, Thanks for your interest in sailing the Med in 2015. Crew contribution is around 50 euro per person per day/ night depending where we are at the time , some ports and countries are more expensive than others.
Thanks Andy

Re: Year in the Med 2015 on a Hanse 505
Hello There,
I am interested in joining you for the ARC in November. I am a single female and can bunk in small places whilst at sea. I have over 100,000 miles, have sailed around the world and voyaged a fair bit in the arctic and sub arctic. Not the the NW passage though before you ask. I am practical, hands on type but not used to being pampered. email me at fraser.fieldguide@gmail.com if space is available or will be for a later voyage. I would be interested in Galapagos also.
