Need little help in Mazatlan

Hello there!

I have a Pearson 36 moored in one of the Mazatlan marinas, and I would want to put her on the hard. However, I can't fly there in order to move her from the slip onto the crane.

Anyone might help? Thanks!

I could help you, but I am afraid, you are bit late. Last time I was in mazatlan it was in 1976.....ah, good old days, no iPhone navigators around.

you will need to make arrangements with fonatur and you may need to come here yourself to contract these works.
if you have a boat watching company they will move boat.
the company you are using for services will move the boat also.
i donot use fonatur yard here. i leave my boat in water and stay on it.
marina mazatlan has low summer rates so i use that.

Just curious, how low are summer rates for a small 30 ft. slip in Mazatlan?

CaptainJohn49
price depends on marina in which boat is placed. marina mazatlan charges .24usd per ft per day per month in summer. makes my 40.9 ft boat come in at 375 usd monthly including electricity. i live aboard my boat full time, donot leave for summer.
am effecting repairs at present.
the other marinas--there are 3 others--charge more.

Thanks everyone, I have decided to leave her in the water since it's too hard to sync marina's dry storage spot availability and some who might move her.

The waters in Mazatlan are very fertile so marine growth becomes an issue. You wii need your bottom scraped every six weeks or so!

growth here is no worse than cali waters. same timing schedule for bottom cleaning.. 1 month to 6 weeks. same as socal, but warmer waters for the diving pleasure. and the divers put your boat on a schedule if that is what you wish. divers will also monitor your zincs and underwater issues.
