Has anyone chartered in the Bay of Islands, NZ?

If the dollar has any value and we can manage to save some, we're hoping to visit New Zealand next year. Does anyone have any recommendation for bareboat charter in the Bay of Islands? Mooring has a base there but wondering if a local charter firm might be better.

We are docked in the Opua Marina now. Moorings has 3 boats at their docks for charter today. There is another local company just across the dock with signs on their windows but I don't see any advantage to the boats they have pictured. We chartered a lot in many geographic areas before starting our circumnavigation. Moorings always had the better maintained boats. And that means a lot. You don't want to deal with broken items on a boat while on holiday.
