Simply a very odd idea............going against any logical flow for a sailing vessel. I just hope you live to tell us all how it goes...........love the story line and it would make a great muvee. Wish you all the best......and you will get a few bruises.

many have done ' THE BASH" and lived to tell about it--lol--- is just a lot of work and lack of comfort.
i got my panama canal info from the panama canal site. if the fees are lower, yay, but the panama canal site says is 1800 dollars for a 40-49 FT boat. they measure you-- charge for it. they have handlers-- you pay for it. they have lines--you pay for it...lol..and on it goes. whichever of us learns first about the REAL fees, please post here--- the panama canal site is supposed to be current and up to date, and is from there i got my info as i am headed that way meself.
