I do understand what you're saying; I was just pointing out that someone was using a single instance of negativity as a basis for avoiding anything to do with such a beautiful country.

I do appreciate the incentive to elucidate. Personally, I think the Philippines are beautiful, and want to spend some real time there. I just didn't like that someone was using what amounts to scare tactics against such a beautiful country.
