Re: Used sail boat parts ???

Thanks all, this is what I was looking for.

My main reason for avoiding the ebays of the world is shipping. We are looking for some used stainless bimini bows and shipping is a bit much. As we are going to drive to Florida in Feb anyways thought I might find something I could bring home. Should be able to get them in my van.

Thanks

Yeah, some places have tons of that stuff others not much.
I bought a complete large bimini with great sunbrella, a zip cover and heavy fittings and all stainless tubes for $150 off craigs list. It was almost 10 ft wide... came off a big powerboat flybridge. I cut each hoop at center and made slip joints with next size up stainless tube to join them back together/narrower. Worked out great.

Re: Used sail boat parts?

There's a relatively new place in Green Cove Springs right next to the GCS Boatyard. Used Sailboat Parts - Buy New & Used Sailboat Parts, Sailboat Salvage

Not a huge selection but growing and they had some good deals.

Re: Used sail boat parts?

Not on the east coast, but the Panhandle AKA "Baja Alabama" & Pensacola.

I have had a 37' mast w/boom and all rigging listed for two years, now reduced to $1,500.

So shipping may be an issue, but have you checked the price of a new 37' mast, boom, standing and running rigging?

I will deliver 50 miles either side of P'cola on my 'toon for a case of Yuenglings + asking price.

Re: Used sail boat parts?

Big thumbs up for Sailor's Exchage in St Auggie. They wre a huge help years ago as I was limping down the ICW with a leaky Racor and a tight budget. I make a trip an hour out of my way every year just to see what they got.

BTW, I got a 3 bow BIMINI frame 91" between feet for sale... West Coast FL, much prettier than East Coast.
