Hello all,
well i'm thinking of purchasing an inflatable 9ft boat with a 2.2 Mercury outboard. i'm just wondering and cant find the answer anywhere online whether or not it matters if it is in salt water or not? i'm just curious because if i'm going to buy it, its going to be this saturday. so if anyone could please help i believe its between the 84-89 2.2hp. he says its from the 90's (but we all like to talk a little when selling something) and it matches with the pictures from the 80's. thank you!

Inflatables catch the wind very easly and can be hard to steer. the motor should have a plate on it with all the info you need.
