Just so you all know.

Regimental is like "commando", ok.

If worn with anything under it is no longer a kilt. It is a skirt.

Zee what you talking about? You live in San Diego (I know it well grew up in El Centro, I'm sure you have seen it on the I-8E signs).

Meanwhile; if I hear everyone right you are saying if I wear a skirt I can go commando. I'm giving it some serious thought, for the summer!

Oh..here we go...actually, the regimental orders now define when underclothes must be worn...typically for athletic games and dances where the aprons are expected to come up..or when ladies are present in the mess...

although, Regimental is preferred...

So I'm sitting in the Southernmost City in the US, freezing my arse off with a 30kt wind.... Right now, I MISS naked sailing, if for nothing but warmth!

Think it all depends on the individual, I sail solo alot here in Hawaii, and most of the water sailing">blue water sailing I do is " in the raw" - I like it, the sun feels good and I watch my "exposure" time so I don't "overcook". when I was dating I was amazed how many times a gal on our 1st date got rid of her clothes before we even cleared the outer channel marker. Like they say " different strokes for different folks"
