Hans Christian 33 T

I have put a bid on a Hans Christian 33. My ultimate goal is sailing the south Pacific for a few years. This boat is smaller then I was originally thinking of, but, this is a vary nice boat.
Did I say a VARY nice boat?
What I would like to know is ,,,, is a HC33 a good boat to live on this. Can two people be happy on a boat so small?
I was originally looking for something in the 41 foot range, but this HC is in perfect condition. What do you that have been on long range cruises think???? Thank you.

I know several couples who have been liveaboards and cruised the HC33. It's a cult thing. The reason they look so great when in brokerage is someone is spending a lot of time and energy to keep all of that exterior teak prestine. Expect to apply an additional coat of varnish twice a year, and to strip it to the bear wood and start in again every six or seven years.

The HC33 is a little beamy for its length and displacement. IMO
