I purchased the Scoprega Bravo BTP 12 pump which works great

The issue I'm having is finding a good place on our Beneteau 473 to connect the provided alligator clips. The unit is advertised and demonstrated only connected directly to a battery. Battery terminals are not readily available on many cruising yachts. The unit draws 20amps so using a lighter adapter is not an option ( I know, I tried, I blew the fuse). Any solutions?

I run 8 gauge wire off my house bank breakers with a 30 amp in line fuse to my Port Lazarette. It is mounted as to not interfere with much. I used a insulated terminal post with covers when not in use. Check the wire size need for your run with Amps and Wire Gauge - 12V Circuit.
I also increased the length of the pump wire to reach the studs with the dinghy in the water attached to the davit.

Anderson plug via a 30 amp breaker with heavy wire. Works a treat
