Thumbs up Compliments to Raymarine.

Usually, when we read reports about customer service, especially from nation companies, they are complains about how bad it was.
I’d like to report an opposite experience with Raymarine USA.
A while back I bought one of their high definition color radars, and had the not-so-bright idea of mounting a lightweight TV antennas on top of the dome. I thought I had completely sealed the three small holes, but evidently over time water must have seeped through and stopped the radar. So I sent it back to Raymarine.
Within days I received a very detailed report from Kevin Linehan, repair department, along with six photographs showing water damage and rust.
I had to accept it was my fault, but they significantly reduced the normal repair cost, and it came back with a new lid and also the e-7 display fully updated with software.
All this took three weeks, including the shipping time, which I confess I didn’t expect. Well done Raymarine .

Re: Compliments to Raymarine.

Glad to hear they have good service. I am putting in an a97 and EV100 soon.

"along with six photographs showing water damage and rust."

I really like that they took the time to do this to verify what they were telling you.
