I have been hearing a bit about a race in Borneo, but haven't been able to find any first hand information.

Has anyone here done it or planning to this year?

Thank you Randal, have you participated in this race? I was able to find information online, but have yet to speak or meet anyone that has been in it. I am currently based in S.E. Asia, and considering sticking around for this race instead of returning to North America for the summer.

Any first hand information would be much appreciated.

We've just returned from Borneo. There are so many big logs floating just off Miri that I cringed for my thin skin. Hate to think what those logs would do to a race boat...
