Yes, I've seen such ads here as well as on crew finder sites. From what I've seen here, when someone posts such an ad, many others jump all over it criticizing the poster, making the ad fairly ineffective. Personally, I wouldn't even post an ad seeking non-romantic crew of the opposite gender on this site.

I find having crew of the opposite gender that I've never met can be challenging, even without the expectation of a relationship, but obviously, some have sought that specifically and been successful.
