Annapolis 2019 accomodation?

My wife and I are hoping to get out to the Annapolis Sail show in October. It's been ten years since we've last been.


The hotel pricing has gone up exponentially since our last visit. Any specific suggestions for decent accommodation within 30-40 minutes?

Because it's so close to the show, most will be booked. I would try looking for an Airbnb. There are quite a few here, where locals will rent out their rooms or apartments/houses for the week -many within walking distance to ego alley. Plus, you really want to stay as close as you can to the show. Parking will be a pain too. Is a local here, so I know! Good luck, it's going to be a big show this year, 50th and all. Let me know if you have any other specifics, I'll be working at the show too.

I booked last week in Parole, about 4-5 miles from Annapolis for $130 a night using Expedia. There are still rooms available.

There are tons of hotels within 15 miles of Annapolis. You won't have any trouble booking a room. Check Google or any of the hotel booking sites. Bowie west of Annapolis has plenty and if you don't mind crossing the bridge, there are a number of hotels on Kent Island as well.

59-North had a couple berths aboard their Swan available at $50 a night right in the harbor. That was a few hours ago, so may have gotten taken already.
