sailing around eastern caribbean help

i installed 3 programs fugawi, chartnavigator pro, open CPN...i'm getting a usb/bluetooth gps receiver from ebay...but now i have no charts..i can't seem to understand where to get these...i need rostor charts from antigua to bvi ...i have no idea how to aquire these..or install them ...any feed back would help..

For FUGAWI you buy them from Navionics/Xtraverse. This can be done from the FUGAWI app/Xtraverse web site. You can also georeference scanned charts using FUGAWI, but this is really tedious to do for more than a few scanned charts.

For OPENCPN most folks us CM93 (old pirated CMAP charts). You can find details here on other threads for where to find them. Also see the OPENCPN web site regarding charts.

NV also sells good charts for these regions.

Sounds like you may want to stay in Staten Island for a while until you sort those basic details out.

my charter is fully stocked with electronic and paper chart and i'm looking at charts online...but woud like to have something to take with me on my netbook incase i want to kill dead time.
