I bought the Globalstar phone
I also have ordered the 2700 minute annual package that makes the cost .29 per minute.
Hmm, good price. How much did ya pay for the phone?

Got a link to yer provider/dealer?

My buddy has had the Globalstar for three years. He got the 2700 minutes deal this year and also changed to the marine phone with the external antenna and finds this is a great improvement. He mounted the antenna on his arch so now there's no more wandering around the deck trying to get the best reception. He just called me from Nassau a few minutes ago. Globalstar has been spotty in the Bahamas the last couple of years but it's still the best bet if you need to keep in touch.

I ordered mine from the Satellite Phone Store..

out of Sarasota, FL. The phone was $599, plus a data kit, a 12 volt charger and the sign up fee. It all came to about $780 delivered to my home in Tennessee.
