My buddy has had the Globalstar for three years. He got the 2700 minutes deal this year and also changed to the marine phone with the external antenna and finds this is a great improvement. He mounted the antenna on his arch so now there's no more wandering around the deck trying to get the best reception. He just called me from Nassau a few minutes ago. Globalstar has been spotty in the Bahamas the last couple of years but it's still the best bet if you need to keep in touch.
