Bahamas in June - Other Kid Boats?

My family and I will be in the Abaco's around June 10th - 20th on our trip to bring our new to us Stevens 47 from St. John to Savannah.

Anyone else going to be cruising in the area during that time frame? Any other kid boats? Ours are 5 and 9 and we are looking for other kids for them to play with. Where would be a good place to start?

We just got back from the Bahamas with our 2 kids. I was surprised at how few kid boats we saw. We were exclusively in the Exumas and the places we saw the most kids were: George Town, Black Point and the Exuma Cays Land and Sea Park (Warderick Wells). Don't know if that's helpful, but at least in George Town they have a cruisers net every morning and you could find out if there are any kids around through them.

We are headed that way and looking for another family to sail with.
We are planning to be in St. John's in about a week. I think that is right around the time of your departure. Maybe you could use some extra crew hands, another bright young face on board, and a 3rd grade school teacher to help keep them safe?
