Sailing Kentucky Lake

Hey everyone, the wife and I just bought a 1970 Columbia 36 and have it in at Green Turtle Bay KY. We want to take a short cruise, maybe and hour or two, and find somewhere to anchor overnight. Anyone have any spots they would suggest. I left my charts in the boat and live an hour away from the marina so I'm unable to study them until Friday when we head to the marina. Thanks

I would think you could google map and go to earth view and get a good idea without charts. That is what I do anyhow.

Easier to tell the depths here in south fla with the clear water, but you could have a good idea

Re: Sailing Kentucky Lake

Navionics has a mobile app webapp.navionics.com which provides what appears to me, a novice at marine charts, to be pretty good.

I can't use it on my PC, but works fine on my phone.

Cheers
