Re: February CF Giveaway - Win a Mantus Anchor!

So I checked out their anchor test video and it seems as if it's pretty good. Looks like a cross between a French Spade and a New Zealand Rocna. I really like the fact that, like the Spade, it can be dismantled for easy storage.

So here's my wish list:

I would really like to augment my ground tackle with a Mantus 45lb anchor which is one size above my class but I do some cruising in rough places and plan to spend this summer in the Western Isles of Scotland so a little extra weight down there might be a good thing.

Also I like the look of their Mantus Anchors 3/8 Stainless Steel Hook as it seems quite sturdy but versatile - two things I look for in cruising gear.

It would appear from Mantus anchors reviews and testimonials that this is ground tackle that simply works like it should and is good for peace of mind when on a hook. It would appear that Mantus anchors are possible one of the best anchors for cruising.

Re: February CF Giveaway - Win a Mantus Anchor!

I'm not sure if I need a 35Lb 0r 45LB (My Moody is on the borderline of both -I either go up or down. More holding power, weight and bigger size v easier to handle and possible still adaquate. Still either would be great for me. Not sure how to post the URL as a link though.
