Chesapeake bay marinas

I'm relocating to Annapolis/baltimore area next month. We have a 46' sailboat that draws 6'. Does anyone have a recommendation for a marina to keep it at?

Re: Chesapeake bay marinas

Your LOA and draft will narrow your choices somewhat. I assume you are a monohull? A cat will have very few options in this part of the world. It would also be good to know what you're looking for in a marina - Urban vs. suburban? High amenity/full service vs. bare bones? Resort vs. working yard? Do you plan to live aboard? If not, do you plan to winter on the hard or in the water? What is your budget?

If you can be south of Annapolis, I've spent time at Herrington Harbor North in Deale, and Hartge Yacht Harbor in Galesville. They are very different, but I liked both, and super nice folks at both places.

Yeah, more info would be better.

Lots of marinas around here (check ActiveCaptain) -- from approx. Deale to Baltimore -- but actual selection might be more about where you might live (aboard? or...?) and work (commute, etc.).
