Re: E-MARINE GIVEAWAY

I am shopping for both solar and wind generators. I have sailed on another boat that has the Silent X wind generator and I really like how quite it works.

So I am strongly considering this wind generator.

Re: E-MARINE GIVEAWAY

Hello, this is my first post. I just purchased a new to me 42' sloop rigged 27 year old vessel and it will probably need some new batteries really soon! This would help me in getting on my way to a full liveaboard lifestyle I've been planning on. This batteries will help me out tremendously!

Thank you.

We're taking the kids out of school to cruise the world, this would help us so much and show our boys how to live sustainably.

Love the thought of more independence from expensive marinas and this product will undoubtedly help with this.

I have just taken possession of a 45 year old CS 27 with the original noisy diesel. It would be awesome to generate some clean quiet power to keep the system charged up.

I have a recently purchased Fisher 30 that shortly will be heading South in down the ICW. I haven’t decided on the galley setup, (cooking/refrig) and this will provide me with another option/solution. Thank you EMarine and Cruisers Forum for the opportunity.

I would love to add some solar to our boat. We have 4 days of battery but a little solar would allow to relax on the hook for a week or more.

Re: E-MARINE GIVEAWAY

I could really use the sunpower panels because my boat stays on the hook away from any dock power or shore power. Because of this I have to go out to my boat just to switch out batteries. I arrive at the boat with a "hot" freshly charged battery and swap it out with the battery onboard that has been there for some time. Several times last winter I had to do this in some of the worst weather you could imagine, but I had to do it when I could because of other commitments.

With a proper solar array keeping my batteries charged I could sit back on a cold miserable day and and enjoy the day watching a game instead of having to brave the elements!

I'll be buying the 40 or 60 amp model next year for my planned multi-year water sailing">blue water sailing trip. The whole system is relatively inexpensive when you think of all the hours one can use its power from the batteries.
