Victron bmv712 HV/LV SOC alarm…..

Audible alarm on this feature seems to be inaudible because of frequency. Any body found a work around?
Could disconnect piezo and parallel off to one that you can actually hear! Need to know specs of piezo though not to overload circuit. Don’t see how they could do it with firmware? https://community.victronenergy.com/questions/10848/alarm-buzzer-on-bmv-712-smart.html

Shouldn’t have to do this!! Grrr!

Mine is audible. If for whatever reason you can't hear yours, the easiest fix is to use the relay outputs and connect a different alarm. There is no reason to hack and modify it.

Thanks Warren, but I was hoping to use the onboard buzzer for pre audible warning and relay for final disconnect. I’m just kinda a bit annoyed they didn’t cater for oldies,;it’s working ok.
