Re: Solar - Best Prices?

Hi again, OOps meant to say I would be ordering the 190 watt panels rated at an open circuit of 44 volts, not 130, not that it matters. Three of these on my bimini, and two on my pilothouse. I am trying to size the system for all the overcast days of the winter west coast of Canada.

Re: Solar - best prices?

Hey Foggysail - Quick question regarding the DM 145w panels from Amazon. With regard to the parallel cable that comes with the panel, my question is is the cable of adequate wire gauge size to carry the current that two of the panels will be producing (re: 290w)? I ask because I'm wanting to use two DM 145w panels with the parallel cable and then connect the parallel cable to a single HQRP Pair 25 feet / 7.62m 1x4mm Photovoltaic Solar Array Cables with MC4 Connectors and HQRP Coaster. I checked the stats on the HQRP Pair 25 foot cable and it appears to be 12 AWG. Bruce
